John has been training Hunters, Jumpers and Equitation horses and riders since 1984. He started his career in
Atlanta GA after college and continues today in Aiken, SC.
Having spent a life time in the equestrian field, John’s experience as a teacher is extensive. Always learning and growing, John attends many clinics and is an official Judge at USEF Hunter shows. As a rider, he has competed in all levels of the Hunter ring, including the International Hunter Derbies and in the jumper ring up to the 1.25 meters. “As a teacher I strive to give the rider as much information as possible. My goal is to help improve both the rider and their horse which assists them in increasing their level of performance. In addition I am uniquely qualified as a judge to educate competitors in understanding what the judges are looking for in the show arena”.
“As a student, I rode with as many great riders as I could, including Kay Richardson (in Michigan as a junior), Joe Fargis, Kathy Kusner, Michael Page, and Melanie Smith during my career as a professional rider.

Once payment is received you will have notification of conformation. If the clinic is full, you will be put on a waiting list. A full refund will be given should a space not be available.
